  • Chaired the Key Surgical Factors group, contributing to the NHS England National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (NatSSIPs), September 2015
  • CORESS’ written evidence and testimony before the Parliamentary Public Administration Select Committee: NHS Complaints and Clinical Failure in Hospitals Inquiry, is widely quoted in its report on Patient Safety, January 2015. The inquiry led directly to the instigation of HSIB – the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch in 2018
