Mr Dominic Waugh

Mr. Waugh completed his undergraduate studies at the Universities of St. Andrews and Glasgow before moving to Yorkshire for Foundation and Core Surgical Training. Following this, he returned to Glasgow where he is currently a Trauma and Orthopaedic Registrar on the West rotation.

As BOTA Scotland Representative 23 / 24, Mr Waugh advocates for trainees on several committees, including the Scottish Academy Trainee Doctors group (SATDG) and RCSEd Subspecialty Board. He is passionate about supporting trainees achieve their goals and balance the wider demands of a surgical career.

Mr. Waugh is actively involved in national research projects and regularly presents work at international meetings. He is a teaching Faculty Member with RCPSG and has a keen interest in medical education and mentorship. 

In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, attending live music concerts and watching Netflix documentaries.
