Martin Else has a career background in healthcare management and health policy. He held the post of Chief Executive of the Royal Free Hospital for over ten years and has Board experience in public, private and charitable bodies for forty years. He has undertaken many international projects and was awarded the prestigious Sloan Fellowship with Distinction by the London Business School. He completed his full-time career first as senior policy advisor in the DOH and Chief Executive of the Royal College of Physicians. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management and has been awarded a number of Honorary Fellowships including the RCP and the FMLM.
